ILCA Sailors Training at DMYC

DMYC is hosting three teams of international ILCA (Laser) sailors this week and next week. The sailors are representing Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Sweden.

The sailors are training and getting familiar with the venue in advance of the ILCA World Championships, which will take place in Dublin Bay. The Men’s World Championship runs from 23 to 30 August. The Women’s World Championship runs from 5 to 12 September.

The three coach RIBs will be moored on the pontoon, and the eight ILCA boats will be stored in the upper dinghy park. As a result, there will be no space for car parking in the upper dinghy park, and we need to keep the back gate clear, so that the boats can access the slip.
