Winter Talk – Sails

On February 22nd, Harry Sterling of Sterling Sails will give a presentation discussing sail construction from a sail maker’s perspective. The talk covers sail shape and dynamics, the slot effect, sail balance, and general sail trim. The talk will review how the full suit of sails are constructed, and how they should work and perform as a unit.
