Our Community Safety Officer at Dun Laoghaire R.N.L.I. Station, Dave Farrell, has offered to conduct a “Lifejacket Safety Clinic” for DMYC members and friends on Saturday August 11th from 1100 to 1400 hrs. in the Main Bar of the Club.
This will involve Members receiving face to face information, instruction and advice with regard to their lifejackets and safety equipment as he checks each lifejacket. People might show interest as they pass his table on their way to going afloat and who knows, at some future date might be glad they did so? Perhaps those having coffee and biscuits might even come over to Dave’s table?
Dave is also an experienced Crew Member on our All Weather and Inshore Lifeboats and is a calm and patient man and will answer any queries or questions – however simple or difficult!
