The Spanish Training Ship “Juan Sebastian de Elcano” will be visiting Dublin from Saturday 7th to Thursday 12th June. The “Elcano” is a 113 meters long four-masted schooner, the third largest tall ship in the world. It was built in Cádiz (Spain) in 1928 and has visited 152 ports in more than 70 countries. Its main purpose is to train the future Officers of the Spanish Navy. Of its 85 cruises to date, 10 have been round the world trips.
