The annual Poolbeg Blessing of the Boats will take place this Sunday, 18th May. For all members interested in taking part, we’re proposing a gathering at 10:30 AM on Sunday, a sail across to the port entrance, and then motoring up to Poolbeg to join in the ceremony. Please dress your boat for the occasion, if you have the appropriate flags!
If you’ve not been to one of these events before, it’s also a chance to motor up the Liffey and see Dublin from an unusual vantage point.
