DMYC Rear Commodore Sailing Cormac Bradley, shares his recent professional experience in a major project which saw the transformation of Kerdiffstown landfill site into a public park. This was a major environmental project. Cormac's presentation details the construction project and remediation work involved.
Annual General Meeting
The award winning photographer and diver Nigel Motyer returns to the DMYC to take us to far and not so far places showing us the incredible sea life that he has filmed. Nigel's passion and commitment in documenting our fragile marine environment is demonstrated in his stunning images.
DMYC sailor Charlie Dunn spent the summer taking his Wayfarer on the River Shannon, Lough Corrib, and Galway Bay. Charlie doesn't just sail along admiring the views. His insatiable curiosity about the history of the places he visits makes his presentations highly enjoyable and entertaining.
Prizes for the Viking Marine Frostbite Series 1 will be presented in the DMYC after racing on Sunday 21 December. The time will depend on when we get ashore after racing, but will probably be around 4:30 or 5 pm. All competitors are welcome (not just the winners!). There will be food and drink available…

Pete Hogan is a well-known visual artist. Born in Dublin, he now divides his time between Dublin and Sydney, Australia. In 2012, he published his book The Log of the Molly B, telling the story of the 30' ketch that he built and sailed around the world, single-handed.
