John Leahy

In 1986, well known pilot and sailor John Leahy rounded up a group of 100 people, mainly sailors, and chartered a BA 737 jet in order to follow the Fastnet race as the boats approached the rock on June 21st. As the fleet approached Fastnet, John made several passes over the race before taking his passengers around the Skelligs and back to Dublin.
